Safety
MATE and MATRIC safety engineers and trainers are certified and highly qualified to implement a variety of safety programs and procedures for industrial operations. We provide federal and state regulatory DOT and OSHA compliance training, as well as perform safety engineering services to mitigate risks, investigate accidents and document/improve or develop safety procedures. See a complete listing of our safety services.
MATE has a zero tolerance for safety violations. Internally, our commitment to safety is apparent at the highest corporate level. This is reflected in our background checking and compliance testing procedures, as well as our documented fully compliant OSHA safety program and outstanding safety record.
We perform employee background checks through FirstAdvantage Hirecheck. Our employees are safety and drug tested in compliance with national safety and drug testing procedures, as well as in conformance to specialty training/testing, as required by our clients.
A commitment to safety is a mandatory condition of employment with MATE. All staff members are provided safety orientation at the time of hire. This safety training covers office safety, safety outside the workplace, environmental constraints, and adherence to client safety policies and procedures.
For instances when specialty training is required, we utilize third party training centers such as the Regional Training Center (RTC). Additionally we are listed with National Compliance Management Services for compliance with our safety and drug testing programs.
Process & Quality Management
We continuously work toward process improvements and implementing changes to improve quality and cost efficiency. Our engineering design processes employ the latest national and local codes and standards (NFPA, ATSM, ASME, API, DOT, National Building Code 2000, ASI and ISO 9001). We also follow strict adherence to our client’s internal standards and design practices.
Security and Secrecy
We take matters of secrecy, security and client proprietary knowledge to heart. Our secure office locations have limited electronic access. We utilize formal secrecy agreements to protect the interests of our clients and ourselves.
Rapid Staffing
Through the MATRIC enterprise of companies, we have the ability to augment our project teams and rapidly staff for larger projects or short duration project needs. This ability additionally allows us to supplement the needs of our clients for assignments on-site.
