April 9, 2009 - In November 2008, MATE entered into a strategic partnership with Butler International to form the International Design Center (IDC). This partnership was focused on providing world-class engineering through MATE and design and drafting services through Butler’s technical staffing capabilities.
The IDC was planned to utilize the strengths of MATE and Butler’s collective staffing, as well as their combined geographic locations to provide additional services to existing national and international clients. Unfortunately, over the last two months, Butler has not been able to fulfill their obligations in the IDC and has failed to show the necessary respect to our clients, staff and organization. Such behavior is not consistent with MATE’s mission and values. Therefore, MATE has terminated the alliance with Butler International. Since the core of the IDC’s technical capability has always resided within MATE, there has been no adverse impact in the termination of the relationship with Butler.
We want to assure our clients, staff and the community that MATE is has overcome this adversity and is not only intent on moving our organization forward, but continuing to provide our clients with innovative solutions and expert project services.
